At Anaga Resort, we are committed to the natural beauty and the environment that surrounds us. For this reason, we want to contribute our bit to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by implementing sustainable practices in our hotel.
One of the ways we carry out this commitment is by actively promoting the reduction of plastic in our facilities. We have replaced plastic bottles with glass water bottles, which significantly reduces our environmental impact and contributes to the preservation of our natural environment.
Additionally, we are taking steps to opt for more sustainable alternatives in our daily operations. For example, we have established a collaboration with CULLIGAN to provide filtered tap water in our restaurant, thus eliminating the need for single-use water bottles. Soon, we will also offer this option in our rooms, giving our guests a more sustainable and environmentally conscious experience.
We demonstrate this commitment by actively promoting the use of local products in our restaurant. We are committed to kilometer zero products, which not only highlights the quality of our dishes, but also has a positive impact on sustainability.
By using local products, we support the region's farmers and producers, reduce our carbon footprint by reducing the distance food must travel to reach our table, and promote a healthier local economy.
